We are recruiting an experienced Branch Manager to join our talented team at our Hastings Post Office.

What will you do?
Achieving all store KPIs through your effective people management, you will ensure the branch delivers a faultless customer experience by creating an exceptional customer service led culture. Working in a fast paced environment, you will drive sales initiatives and ensure your talented team are maximising all selling opportunities by having the appropriate conversations, whilst ensuring full compliance with the Financial Services Association and all other relevant legislation. You will also have full accountability of the Branch Profit and Loss account, whilst monitoring security processes ensuring these are adhered to at all times.

Working with the Area Manager and Operations Manager, you will strive to deliver all store targets but also area targets as well, so if you enjoy working in a target driven environment, where your ability to drives sales and implement new initiatives can really make a difference, this is the ideal opportunity for you!

Who we're looking for:
Along with previous retail management, you will be comfortable with managing the employee lifecycle from recruitment, training and development to appraisals and disciplinary processes. A background in Financial Services or Post Office will prove advantageous however, your ability to lead and motivate your team to ensure success for the store will be essential, as will previous experience of working towards and achieving demanding targets within tight budgets. Ideally you will have experience of managing a profit and loss account together with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships both internal and external, all whilst demonstrating your excellent communication and organisation skills.

Successful candidates will need to provide five years continuous referencing and consent to undertake the security checks carried out by the Post Office.
