Braille Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Niche Learning Support Assistant who has Braille Training and good IT skills in the Lewisham area.

We are looking for a committed individual who is patient, caring and prepared to go the extra mile to benefit the pupils they interact with. In addition to this we are looking to find confident, knowledgeable candidates, who are able to work under the direction of a teacher and demonstrate exceptional teamwork skills.

The right candidate would work with a Year 6 child, who has Visual Needs, Braille ability and works at the Expected level for a Year 6 child. In the afternoon, you will be preparing IT Resources to support this child. The Child will be taking SATS next term and it will be your role to ensure he is fully prepared.

If you have proven experience working 1:1 with a Visually impaired child, especially if you have experience working in schools as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor then Protocol Education would like to hear from you!
