Based in Watford our client is a Top 30 firm of Chartered Accountants with an impressive client portfolio ranging from SME's to large corporates and HNWI's. Their Book-keeping Department provides a range of services to clients including production of monthly management accounts, double entry book keeping, payroll services, VAT returns, PAYE, preparation of annual statutory returns, corporation tax computationsin addition to a range of other accounting services.The Firm is now looking to recruit a Senior Book keeper to act in a Supervisory/Managerial role, reviewing the work of more junior members of the department and reporting directly to Partners. Candidates should have a minimum 4 years previous experience of dealing with clients bookkeeping with an Accountancy practice, be effective communicators and possess Intermediate Excel skills. All round IT skills are important with a preference for experience in Xero, Sage 50 and Quick books. The role will be mainly in house but will also involve travel to clients mainly within the M25 and London area. This is a excellent role for an experienced candidate now looking to take the next step up within a Practice where they can utilise their strong practical book keeping skills and their experience of supervising and managing staff.
