Reed Accountancy are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to help streamline our clients' financial operations and support their remote finance team. This role is fully office based and is crucial for someone with strong finance experience who can manage a significant backlog, track and locate information within the organisation, and establish effective internal processes.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Collaborate closely with the remote finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Track and locate financial information within the organisation to feed consistent and accurate data to the remote team.
  • Work alongside management to create and implement internal financial processes that enhance information flow and overall financial management.
  • Manage the tracking and banking of cash transactions within the organisation.
  • Support the budget setting process and ensure financial data is accurately recorded and maintained in Xero.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in finance or bookkeeping.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills to effectively liaise with both internal teams and external finance service providers.
  • Proficiency in Xero and other financial software.
  • Ability to handle a backlog and set up new systems for efficient financial management.
  • Experience in developing and supporting budget processes.
