Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a Bookkeeper opportunity on behalf of our client, a friendly and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Chester.

Ideal for an AAT Qualified (PQ or QBE considered) individual from a practice background with strong double-entry bookkeeping skills, and a good working knowledge of accountancy software such as Xero/ Quickbooks.

Highly competitive remuneration and benefits package, lots of flexibility, and the option of working from home. Part time also considered.

The Role:

Preparation of accounts to trial balance
Preparation of CIS returns
Undertaking bookkeeping for clients
Preparing VAT returns
Bank reconciliations
Purchase & Sales Ledger
Maintaining up to date complete financial records
Liaising with multiple clients at any one time, maintaining and developing relationships
Dealing with client queries

You:

AAT Qualified (Ideally)
(Qualified by Experience also considered)
Knowledge of cloud software desirable (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks)
Experience of working in practice is essential
Strong double entry bookkeeping skills
