Acorn Recruitment is recruiting for a Bookkeeper on behalf of our client in Redruth.

This is a large office but has a family-like feel and a fun and dynamic team.

Based in a modern building along with other companies, there is access to free parking, free gym access and access to the on-site café.

The job role will include:

  • VAT returns.
  • Dealing with invoices and receipts.
  • Preparing payroll.
  • Using computerised accounting systems; experience using XERO is essential.
  • Double-entry accounting, knowledge/ understanding of this is essential.
  • Working on own initiative with minimal support/guidance from others.

This is an ongoing temporary role, working 3 days per week which will ideally include a Friday but there is more flexiblity on the other 2 days.

The office core hours are 10am - 3pm but work on a flexi-time basis, meaning employees can sign in and out as they wish.

Pay rate of £12.00 - £12.50 per hour.
