The successful candidate will be an integral player supporting a well established SME based in East Hertfordshire. Working within a small close knit team, the candidate will be overseeing the transactional side of the business whilst being responsible for preparing accounting information for external accountants.
-Overseeing the purchase ledger and credit control functions
-Monitoring petty cash
-Updating monthly records of outstanding finance on purchases
-Gather all relevant data for VAT returns
-Producing year end reports & preparing accounts up to trial balance.
-Xero experience preferable
-Experience of working within a small office environment
-Able to offer part time hours
-Strong bookkeeping qualities
