Bookkeeper job vacancy for a retail business based in central London offering circa £27k
Your new company
You will be joining a retail business based in the heart of London highly accessible by several modes of transport. The company has a finance team of 6 and a total organisation of circa 80 staff with stores across the UK. Established over 15 years ago they are well established and have experienced successful revenue growth this year.
Your new role
You will be working as the Bookkeeper for the business, reporting to the Finance Controller. You will be responsible for the purchase, sales and general ledger duties. You will also be responsible for all banking and cash movements. Duties will include invoicing, payments and completing bank reconciliations. You will also be accounting for petty cash and processing staff expenses. You will have to liaise with supplier and internal staff to resolve finance queries. The team uses SUN system and Excel.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have at least 2 years experience completing a similar role. Ideally you will have worked in the retail sector and used SUN system before. You should have effective communication skills and have a natural ability working with numbers.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary circa £27k per annum plus be eligible for an annual bonus and study support.
