We are excited to be recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper/Payroll Clerk with accountancy practice experience to join our Aldershot based clients. Salary £23-25K depending on experience. This is a full time Bookkeeper/Payroll Clerk position however part-timers may be considered.
Key responsibilities for the Bookkeeper/Payroll Clerk will include;

  • Bookkeeping using Excel spreadsheets and Sage software
  • Maintain client monthly/quarterly bookkeeping so that VAT returns can be filed by the deadline
  • Provide assistance when required with data entry onto spreadsheets
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly payrolls for clients, using Moneysoft
  • Four weekly NEST
  • Provide administrative assistance including answering calls, post, filing and any other ad hoc duties as required

The ideal Bookkeeper/Payroll Clerk will need;

  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice
  • Experience of Sage and payroll essential, training given on Moneysoft
  • Flexibility to assist with some general administration

Hours 9am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs, 8.30am-5pm Fri
