Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting for a Bookkeeper position with a growing firm of Accountants in Lincoln
Your new role
Your new role will involve both book-keeping in house and meeting with clients at their premises, maintaining clients' records and communicating with clients. You will be required to advise of their quarter end deadlines, request any additional information and discuss VAT return details as well as liaising with HMRC as required to register, deregister and update client details. You will need to maintain work in progress list to ensure VAT department is operating smoothly and assisting the accounts team as required to ensure a smooth transition between book-keeping and year end accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recent and relevant experience of book-keeping and professional accounts administration. You will need to be a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills. Experience of using Sage 50, Xero, Quickbooks or Excel will be desirable. A full clean driver's License is essential.
