Reed Accountancy are delighted to offer this excellent opportunity on behalf of a local business for the position of Bookkeeper– working in a sole charge role. This is a varied job role, within a busy, high volume environment, which requires good organisational skills and a need to prioritize tasks.

Main duties will include;

• Sales Ledger: Raising invoices, checking contract pricing and updating changes to invoicing details
• Chasing outstanding payments and allocating payments to accounts
• Daily bank reconciliations and banking requirements
• Purchase ledger: coding and inputting invoices
• Month end Accruals and pre-payments
• Sub-contractor payments and processing of expenses
• Maintenance of the Nominal Ledger
• Costing of labour, materials and processes
