A medium sized and growing accountancy firm is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and friendly business that puts its employees first.
Working as part of a team, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for supporting a range of clients and covering the following duties:
- Processing client records on Xero/Sage
- Bank account reconciliations
- Reviewing client ledgers
- Producing VAT returns
- Monthly/quarterly management reports
- Regular communications and occasional meetings with clients
This Bookkeeper role is paying a starting salary of up to £26,000 based on experience. Study support can be offered to those who wish to advance and progress.
To be considered suitable for this role you must have some previous bookkeeping experience (ideally in an accountancy practice and including the above duties), exposure to Xero software, strong Excel skills and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
