Job Title: Bookkeeper (Public Practice)
Your new company
Your new company is a small Independent Chartered Accountancy firm in Edinburgh. With a niche client base, the firm are extremely client focused and have built strong relationships over the last 30 years, which has resulted in minimal client turnover.
Your new role
As an experienced bookkeeper, you will be comfortable in producing accounts to trial balance, preparing VAT returns, reconciling accounts, bank reconciliations, processing payroll and dealing with self-assessment tax returns. You will maintain regular client contact and will build strong relationships with the clients.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced bookkeeper, preferably from a public practice background having spent at least 2 years in a Chartered Accountancy firm. You will be comfortable using a variety of accounting software and will have excellent Excel skills.
