Bookkeeper - Full or Part-Time

Our client is a well-established Firm of Accountants, seeking to appoint and experienced double-entry Bookkeeper, to undertake a wide range of bookkeeping duties for many different client companies. Ideally, candidates should have previous experience of processing both sales and purchase invoices, banking, bank reconciliation, plus credit control.

There will also be the opportunity to become involved in the preparation of VAT returns, as well as payroll processing, but training in these 2 latter areas can be given if necessary. A good knowledge of Xero and Excel will be advantageous.

Whilst previous experience of working in a Firm of Accountants or a Bookkeeping Bureau would give you an advantage, this is by no means essential and we are encouraging strong double-entry bookkeepers from all industry types to apply.

The job can be offered on either a full or a part-time basis, and our client can accommodate school hours for the right person.
