We are currently seeking an experienced bookkeeper to manage our accounts department...
Bookkeeper & Accounts Department Manager Responsibilities will include:
+ Building and developing an effective finance function
+ Managing and training a small team of accounts staff
+ Supervision and improvement of systems
+ Oversee bookkeeping and accounting to trial balance
+ Management of supplier invoices and payments
+ Invoicing, cashflow and credit control
+ Payroll & PAYE administration
+ Office management
The successful Bookkeeper & Accounts Department Manager will have the following skills and personal qualities:
+ Double entry bookkeeping to trial balance (AAT or equivalent)
+ Experienced user of Sage 50 and Excel
+ Attention to detail
+ Previous experience of successfully managing a finance team
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
+ Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
+ A strong work ethic with focus on continuous improvement and processes
+ Ability to manage new challenges with a proactive attitude and solution focused
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Flexibility and adaptability
