This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts assistant looking for a change and a desire to work for a highly successful and reputable Accountancy Practice.

Your primary role will involve preparation of bookkeeping & VAT records for their clients, providing monthly and/or quarterly management accounts, liaising with clients on accounting and VAT issues, completing and submitting VAT forms where relevant.
Preparation or assisting with year end accounts and supporting schedules
Your secondary role is that of assisting with the preparation of small company accounts and P11D’s as required
You may also be asked to assist with payroll to cover for holidays and sickness
To produce information for clients or other team members in a timely and efficient manner and within the deadlines set for you by either clients, HMRC, or the Firm
To advise your line manager of any important client issues/problems as soon as possible
Keeping a log of the due dates for VAT returns
Set up of VAT online for new clients with HMRC, advising clients of the business of the set up information required.
Preparation of information for entry on form P11D.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual who can work equally as well within a team as independently and possess excellent pc skills including Sage.
