You will be working for a small media company based near Guildford. Specialising in the sale and marketing of advertisement technology and analysis of current products. You will be working in a small, modern environment within a friendly, professional team.
You will be working independently to maintain all accounts and report directly to the Managing Director. You will be using the Quickbooks system and Ms Office.
You will be responsible for managing the cash flow including petty cash of up to £500. Alongside this, you will be running daily bank reconciliations and have control of both payable and receivable ledgers. The ledgers are a key part of this role so extensive experience in the area will be key.
You will be controlling the running of monthly payroll for the company and submitting VAT returns. As you will be solely responsible for payroll a working knowledge will be vital.
A friendly and personable manor on the phone will be needed due to a small amount of credit control.
You will also need to be able to produce profit and loss reports and conduct internal audits.
