Booking Coordinator

Job Description:

  • Prioritise answering incoming calls and proactively filling all events
  • Ensure an exceptional bookings experience over the phone
  • Promoting and driving bookings to our online resources
  • Coach and guide students with workshop choices
  • Taking ownership for ensuring that all calls and emails are answered efficiently
  • Proactive in promoting events and loyalty programmes
  • Contacting students about events that may be of interest to them
  • Actively monitor waiting list spaces each day to contribute to reaching department targets
  • Provide bookings support to all channels and divisions
  • Helping customers to the online booking platform
  • Use initiative to actively promote the online booking platform
  • Taking ownership for seeking out opportunities for improvements and updates
  • Working towards online booking targets and increasing the call to booking conversion
  • Provide back up support to front desk and network with guests at events and product launches where required

Person Specification:

  • Proven track-record of excellent customer service skills and communication abilities
  • English GCSE (or equivalent) attaining C or above
  • A working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Manage multiple workloads and pro-actively problem-solve
  • Confidence in communicating with people at all levels

Additional Information:

  • Based in Leatherhead
  • £9.00 per hour
  • Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Starting Monday 30th April (minimum 2 month booking)
  • Onsite parking
