Bodyshop Estimator required for my client is a leading progressive Accident Repair/ Logistics organisation based in the Surrey are due to their continued success and growth this is an exceptional Career opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Estimator /Bodyshop Estimator to join their busy operation.
You MUST have a min of 2-3 years Estimating experience and have a thorough understanding of the repair process and costs.
Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential to this role as well as an ability to work in a busy demanding role. VDA or ATA would be a distinct advantage. Motor Vehicle Estimator /Bodyshop Estimator opportunity not to be missed!

Bodyshop Estimator/VDA Vehicle Damage Assessor Key Tasks:

- Provide customer estimates according to company policy on schedules, time and pricing calculate accurate charges for all parts, labour, paint & materials and other costs for repairs
- Promptly prepare and present invoices following completion of work, ensuring all work has been carried out as detailed and charged for and obtain payment in line with company procedures
- Ensure compliance to all health and safety / environmental / company policies
- Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as requested by Operations Managers
- Ensure customer awareness of all products and services available
- Approach all customers and assist with requests, including requests for estimates for vehicle repairs, parts sales and other sales
- Maintain effective liaison with parts and workshop
- Ensure the tidiness of the Paint & body reception desk to promote the professional image of the facility and that all displays / promotions, prices, materials etc. are current and in first class condition

Motor Vehicle Estimator /Bodyshop Estimator Objectives:

- Ensure highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times
- Maintain availability to the Paint & Body reception desk, ensuring that all customer queries (whether in person or on the telephone) are answered or dealt with immediately
- Answer customers' questions regarding technical problems in a manner that is easily understood and does not use excessive jargon, or find the appropriate member of staff to do so
- Ensure account customers have sufficient credit to enable all work advised to be carried out as agreed
- Handle dissatisfied customers calmly and all customer complaints to be brought to the attention of the Bodyshop Manager

Bodyshop Estimator/VDA Vehicle Damage Assessor Objective:

- Maintain excellent standards of departmental administration
- Initiate job documentation and maintain records
- Follow correct procedure when issuing loan cars to customers, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and copies of customers' driving licence are obtained (when applicable)
- Document all warranty work as per Bodyshop requirements and ensure the customer signs for all work undertaken
- Accurately maintain departmental systems
