An established and well respected Mechanical & Electrical contractor covering the South East is looking for a BMS Business Development Manager to join their 300 strong team.

About our Client

With 300 employees based largely out of Surrey, this Mechanical and Electrical contractor has a solid reputation with wide ranging relationships across the South East of England.

With a turnover touching £30m, the company offers M&E services to the domestic and commercial sectors.

The BMS division has seen growth throughout the last 12 months and now with an established and lengthy list of clients as well as warm leads an opportunity has arrived for a dynamic and ambitious person to join the business.

About the Role

Working remotely, you will generate new business from either established leads or clients or within completely new contractors, end users or consultancies across the South East.

The position will entail frequent travel in to London as the main point of contact for new and upcoming projects, you will play a senior role in the continued growth of the division.

Primarily working with Tridium and Centraline systems you will produce Points Schedules and manage all areas of your own new business pipeline.

The aim is to bring in over £1m of growth within the next 12 months.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive package consisting of a market leading basic annual salary as well as a rewarding commission structure and full benefits package.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will be from a technical sales background and be able to demonstrate wide experience within Building Management Systems from either a manufacturer, system house, contractor or a consultancy background.

In particular you MUST have experience working with Tridium and Centraline systems, it would also be of interest to have a background within commissioning BMS systems.

As this is a client facing position, you will have to demonstrate excellent personability and professionalism as well as technical knowledge.

Although the position will be based remotely, you will have to be based within commutable distance of London as you will have to travel frequently to the City.
