BLOCK MANAGER or ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER - To £25,000…
An impressive property management group specialising in residential block management are looking for a property manager (or assistant property manager who has had responsibility for running a portfolio) at their Gloucestershire office, close to Cheltenham.
It is likely that you will have between 6-18 months' experience dealing with a residential block client portfolio and you will initially be managing some smaller blocks within a few miles of the office including some new build stock, so any similar experience would be welcome. You'll be joining a growing company with a relaxed and friendly environment and where there is likely to be an opportunity to progress in the next 12 months. The company offers a nice range benefits and will encourage you to aiming for IRPM qualification. A car and full driving licence are required. Duties include:
- Managing a portfolio of residential blocks
- Handling day-to-day queries re remedial works, repairs, maintenance
- Occasional site inspections to ensure that common areas are well-maintained
- Instructing contractors and managing contractor performance
- Dealing with service charge budgets
- Reviewing expenditure during the year
