An impressive and expanding property management group specialising in residential block management are looking for a residential block manager (or an assistant property manager who has had responsibility for running a portfolio) at their North London office, close to Finchley.

It is likely that you will have between 1-2 years' relevant experience and be used to dealing with a varied residential block client portfolio. You'll be joining this growing company at an exciting time, as there should be an opportunity to progress in the next 12 months and it will help if you are aiming for AIRPM qualification although this is not essential. You can expect a salary of £28,000 - £30,000 together with a good range of company benefits. A full driving licence is required. Duties include:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential blocks
  • Occasional site inspections to ensure that blocks are well-maintained
  • Handling day-to-day queries re remedial works, repairs, maintenance etc
  • Instructing contractors and managing contractor performance
  • Dealing with service charge budgets
  • Reviewing expenditure during the year
