A nice quality property management group specialising in residential block management are looking for a residential block manager (or an assistant property manager who has had responsibility for running a portfolio) for their exceptionally friendly office in Kent, close to Kings Hill and West/East Malling.
It is likely that you will have between 1-2 years' relevant experience and be used to dealing with a varied residential block client portfolio as you'll be dealing with some new build as well as established properties. You'll be joining this company at an exciting time, as there should be an opportunity to progress and it will help if you are keen to achieve IRPM qualification although this is not essential. This company offers a good range of company benefits. Own car and full driving licence required - parking facilities available. Duties include:
- Managing a portfolio of residential blocks
- Occasional site inspections to ensure common parts are well-maintained
- Handling day-to-day queries re remedial works, repairs, maintenance etc
- Instructing contractors and managing contractor performance
- Dealing with service charge budgets
- Reviewing expenditure during the year
