Q: Are you a Biology Graduate looking to gain lab-based experience in a thriving Secondary School before becoming a Biology or Science Teacher?

Q: As a knowledgeable Biology Graduate, would you like to work within the Science Department and support GCSE and A Level student leading up to their exams?

EduStaff are working with a fantastic, and highly successful, modern comprehensive Secondary School, based in Ashford, who are looking to take on a dedicated Biology Graduate to work within their Science Department from October 2018. This is a full-time, long term opportunity to work closely with GCSE and A Level Science student on both a classroom and 1:1 basis.

To be considered for this Graduate Biology/Science Teaching Assistant position, you must have a 2:1 or above in your degree as well as an excellent academic history. You will ideally have some experience taking part in Science experiments and lab-based work through university/volunteering/work experience however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.

The successful Biology Graduate will take on the role of a Science Teaching Assistant, which will involve working with both GCSE students in KS3 and KS4 as well as A Level pupil in KS5. You will be working on a lab basis and taking part in class-based experiments most of the time, however will also often be working on an individual basis with lower ability students.
