This is an exciting opportunity and challenging role for a Billings Expert who enjoys working within a well-established team. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and commercially focused billing service to the London office in order to achieve the business objectives of this Multinational Law firm.

Key responsibilities of the Billings Coordinator:

  • Provide support to Practice Groups and Working Capital Controllers by producing bills, draft bills, matter cost breakdowns, matter / costs analysis and regular detailed billing schedules for Clients
  • Ensure accurate entry into the firm's accounting systems of all billing actions
  • Dealing with queries promptly and efficiently, adhering to the firm's policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all bill / reporting deadlines are met within the required timescale
  • Ensure that all write offs, transfers and file closures are dealt with accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and VAT regulations

Billings Coordinator's experience

  • Legal billing experience
  • Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Knowledge of VAT for law firms billing
  • Extremely organised - ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Excellent eye for detail and presentation
  • Ability to manage user expectations
  • Excellent oral and written communication
