Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working alongside a reputable firm based in Central Sheffield as they go through an exciting period of growth and look to appoint a Billing Assistant in to their team.

Role: Billing Assistant
Location: Sheffield (Centre)
Type: Full time, permanent
Competitive salary & excellent benefits package

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

*Ensuring prompt submission of invoices and any supporting documentation to clients
*Resolving billing/invoice queries
*Updating the Finance Team weekly regarding invoice submissions and queries
*Escalating billing issues to managers/partners in a timely manner and suggesting resolutions to frequent/reoccurring issues
*Supporting the team training from a finance perspective in relation to billing
*Reviewing and submitting updates for billing contacts
*Working with the business to suggest, support & initiate change/s through process improvement & monitoring

Person specification:

*Educated to GCSE level, including Maths & English
*Ideally 2 years' experience within a finance/billing position
*Ability to work well within fast paced environments
*Excellent communication skills & confidence to liaise with individuals at varying levels
*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
