BIG 4 Prudential Capital Manager

SJC Partners is working closely with a prestigious BIG 4 Accountancy firm as it looks to bolster its Risk Consulting team with an experienced and motivated Prudential Capital Manager.

Responsibilities will include taking the lead in advising clients on the impact of the changing regulatory landscapes on their business models while supporting them through that change and providing regulatory capital and related prudential subject-matter expertise on engagements run by others, in particular to Banking Authorisation projects. Furthermore the successful candidate will manage and deliver engagements (which might include multi-disciplinary engagements), which would typically include gap analysis, transformational support, training and authorisation assistance. Given the roles external consulting based, you will be expected to a play a significant role in business development for the regulatory team and wider business.

Applicants should have at least 5 year's relevant banking sector experience (either through working in a professional services firm or in a regulatory environment), a strong understanding of the PRA’s approach to regulatory capital management, capital reporting (ICAAP preparation) and related prudential issues. Regulatory/operational experience of the FCA’s and/or PRA’s requirements covering corporate governance, assurance frameworks, organisational systems/controls and key customer interfaces is also required. An Industry recognised qualification (e.g. CISI, CFA etc.) is desirable however not a pre-requisite.
