BID Writer

A large multi faceted Engineering Services company currently has a vacancy for a BID writer to join their team in the Hertfordshire or Essex office.

The company installs and maintain a variety of works from Electrical, Security Systems, Fire Alarms, Fire Doors, Building works and more. The company are an over £50 million turnover business employing more than 500 staff. They work regionally with a strong client base of local authority, blue chip and commercial clients.

The BID Writer will be responsible for writing the expressions of interest, pre-qualification questionnaires, and invitation to tender documents. In addition, they will support the development of business proposals and service design with their technical knowledge of the procurement process. The Bid Writer will maintain a library of tender document templates to act as a reference point for other staff involved in the tendering process and to ensure a unified and consistent approach to proposals.

Applicants will require previous BID Writing experience with a proven track record of writing bids £250k+. There is an expected educational and qualification level for applicants.
