We are proud to be a leading independent UK consultancy at the forefront of risk, pensions, investment and insurance and have recently reached just over 1000 employees spread over 8 offices. The Marketing Team works in partnership with the business to deliver the growth objectives of the firm and the work includes PR, communications, CRM, design, events, new business, and research.

As a result of an internal move within our marketing team (something which we embrace as an employer), we are looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join our team of 3 (Bid Manager, Bid Co-ordinator and another Bid Writer).

As a Bid Writer within Barnett Waddingham, you will work with all areas of the business to put together bids for new business. You will be responsible for the project management of the whole process as well as the content. It is a fast-paced and challenging environment, at any one time the team can be working on approximately 20-25 bids!

To be successful, you will demonstrate experience of Bid Writing in a similar professional services environment and be motivated by a fast-paced working environment. If you have knowledge of Pensions, that would be even better! You consider your writing skills to be excellent. In an ideal world you’ll have a university degree with a 2:1 minimum grade, supported by an APMP accreditation with a Grade C and above in GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and English. You are a self-starter, highly organised, and able to work well with colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
