Bid Writer Lead

Reporting to Allegis Group's Bid Proposal Manager in EMEA, you will be responsible for supporting bid and proposal activity for new and existing client requests received via our operating brands. The role involves working with senior Sales, Operations, Commercial and Finance leadership across EMEA.

You will be responsible for engaging subject matter experts across the business and writing compelling responses to support our win rate and continue the success of the business across EMEA. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Project managing the bid process from receipt through to contract award to ensure internal and client deadlines are consistently met
  • Producing professionally written, deadline driven bid content that clearly communicates our value proposition and addresses the clients key drivers/win themes
  • Coordination of all input from a range of bid process stakeholders to meet bid production deadlines
  • When necessary, redrafting existing prewritten content from a range of stakeholders, ensuring content is presented professionally and in line with brand voice and visual identity
  • Supporting the enhancement of the Bid Proposal Team's production capacity, through written and administrative contributions into various knowledge management systems
  • Adherence to and contribution to the ongoing development of an effective bid process
  • Producing and tailoring compelling slides and graphics in line with company brand guidelines as part of RFP/ presentation slide decks
  • Providing support and content input to other internal departments in support of non-bid related client questionnaire responses
  • Obtain and apply any lessons learned from client feedback to improve the quality of future submissions
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of knowledge management system
  • Supporting with the creation and tracking of client case studies and proof points
  • Supporting the Client Strategy Teams with ad-hoc requests

Key Skills Required:

  • Previous experience within a bid and proposal environment
  • Ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and high regard for accuracy
  • Highly organised working method
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with and coordinate input from a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven skills in producing and editing content in a business environment
  • Aptitude for continual learning and development with different processes, systems and applications
