Bid Manager

Our client is one of the most progressive, forward thinking Lloyd's Brokers within the insurance market. Recent growth has seen them develop into a leading name in the Broking Market, which is ultimately down to their excellent customer service from their well engaged employees.

It is now looking to add to that group of market leading professionals as we happily assist them to recruit an experienced Bid Manager into their very successful Bids and Marketing team.

You as the successful candidate would be responsible for:

*Project managing the tender/bid management process, ensuring effective planning,
resource coordination and timely delivery of the end result
*Providing strategic and tactical input to Business Units whilst developing
effective sales strategies covering retention, expansion and new business
*Providing creative ideas for report and presentations, working with specialists
from the business
*Supporting the wider business with report/presentation formatting and writing
*Creatively designing/ improving graphs, tables, charts, diagrams and illustrations
*Proof reading documents and suggesting areas of improvement/development
*Coordinating any design and production with external agencies /printers ensuring
timely delivery
*Managing the quality and continuous development of bid and sales materials
*Maintaining the library database of materials
*Regularly analysing competitors and their strategies or materials
*Delivering best practice training across the business
*Ensuring robust, compliant material is produced to adhere to both internal and
external regulation/legislation

In summary, you will be tasked with the delivery and management of successful bids and sales support, achieving business retention and growth goals.
