Due to our continual success in the Wales & The West we are now expanding our team in Bristol and recruit an experienced Bid Manager/ Writer that will align themselves with our commitment to customer service, quality and our culture.
With a track record of successful tenders, you will be responsible for leading the first stage bid process during the pre-construction phase of projects ranging in value from £2m to £45m. You should have good technical knowledge across the construction phase; commercial acumen and be able to coordinate both the design and estimating resources assigned to each bid; producing high quality, qualitative bid submissions on time, within budget. Essential and Desirable Criteria
- Experience of leading the bid process
- Understanding of complex technical schemes
- Be able to deal with with diverse technical output
- Creatively be able to write successful bid submissions
- Excellent resource planning skills
- Experience of using Microsoft Office
- Full membership of secondary technical professional body
