The role represents an exciting opportunity to join a highly innovative Business Intelligence function within a technology focused and highly data driven origination. As BI Data Visualisation Developer your key focus will be on developing and implementing OBIEE reporting solutions to support reporting and planning requirements for multiple business areas. The role holder is required to be innovative in terms of developing effective data visualisation solutions whilst supporting wide BI strategy.


  • Establish and define cutting edge data visualisation methodology via the deployment of OBIEE reporting solutions
  • Liaise with business partners and external providers to build an understanding of how analytics can help deliver future requirements
  • Ensure there is a robust infrastructure and adequate capacity to support all OBIEE development
  • To act as a data expert on all relevant BI systems to support the business
  • Positively support systems / solutions change pertaining to the implementation of new BI tools
  • Translating documented user requirements into deliverable solutions
  • Producing accurate development estimates and work to these timelines
  • Promoting rigorous change control across the BI team
  • Ensuring there is a fit for purpose infrastructure with the capacity support OBIEE development
  • Support the BI Manager and other peers on relevant development, reporting and analysis tasks as / when required.


  • Relevant experience implement data visualisation solutions (ideally OBIEE)
  • Significant experience of SQL and MS Excel
  • Experience with Dashboards and Reporting to fit business needs
  • Experience of data visualisation principles - producing information that clearly shows performance, highlights any issues and helps drive improvement
  • Data & System Analysis
  • Customer support / Stakeholder management
  • Experience in defining requirements for systems and process change
