Position Overview: As a member of the BH Care Of The Elderly Juniors Medical Staff in this locum role, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized care to elderly patients. Your expertise will contribute to comprehensive assessments, compassionate care, and improved patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and high-quality medical care to elderly patients in the Care of the Elderly department.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and support staff.
- Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments and develop tailored care plans for elderly patients.
- Participate in geriatric clinics, case discussions, and departmental meetings.
- Oversee the management of elderly patients with complex medical conditions.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees.
- Maintain meticulous and comprehensive medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Medical degree and full registration with the UK Medical Board.
- Substantial experience in geriatrics or a strong interest in the care of elderly patients.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in geriatric care.
