Bexley - LSA - Graduate

Posted 6 May by Academics Easy Apply

My client Secondary School is seeking Graduates to work full time in immediate positions as LSAs starting September 2018.

** Bexley

** South East London

This Secondary School specifically focuses on encouraging continual academic achievement from its pupils. This School has Graduates and Teachers currently working as Teaching and Support Staff and are keen to find additional motivated individuals to extend their teams. The School offers great support to its staff, having frequent training programmes and professional development.

The LSA roles will be for the next academic year with the School looking for Graduates who can interview as soon as they have finished their studies.

Working across Year 7 to Year 11 they are looking for creative, bubbly and dedicated Graduates who can support a range of children with varying academic abilities and special educational requirements. Having previous experience working with children is essential; having experience working in the local community or youth work is something the School particularly likes.

As the School requires such a high level of support from its staff to its pupils it is essential that a Graduate understands that they will have to provide a standard of assistance to the children that they work with.

Working across year groups and subjects will offer a huge amount of experience for Graduates as these LSA roles will offer challenging and diverse academic experience each week for a willing Graduate.

As with most Secondary roles, these LSA positions will have elements of additional educational needs and behavioural management is something that a Graduate needs to either have experience with or feel confident in doing.

To find out more about this LSA roles please send your CV to Becki Dedman at Academics. As trial days are happening immediately, please do not hesitate to get in contact. Having a DBS will be viewed as an advantage, however not a pre-requisite for the position.
