Behaviour Support Worker - SEMH Specialist
Principal Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Worker with experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). We are looking for members of staff who would be interested in flexible day to day assignments in the Harrogate and surrounding areas.
We work with a number of SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), PRUs (Pupil Referral Units) and also mainstream schools with inclusion units that have a growing need for knowledgeable behaviour support workers that can build strong relationships with the students and keep them engaged with their learning.
What you will require:
The flexibility to complete a variety of assignments often at short notice
- The ability to work during term time school hours
Strong behaviour management
Strong knowledge of SEMH
The ability to model and deliver high standards of learning support
The ability to work positively and effectively under pressure, taking note of, and acting on, all issues relating to the wellbeing and safeguarding of children
A commitment to develop the personalities and abilities of all students
Proactive team member skills
