The Education Network is recruiting for Behaviour Support Workers for a secondary Pupil referral Unit based in Bradford.
The role of Behaviour Support Worker involves working either on a one to one or small group basis with students who have been temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream schools. The students will attend alternative education within a Pupil Referral Unit or similar education provider. The students have been identified with Emotional, Social, Behavioral or Mental Health issues known either as BESD, EBD or SEMH.
You will need to be patient, resilient and also empathetic to each of the student's individual needs.
- Do you what it takes to work with underprivileged and/or disengaged students?
- Do you have experience of working with teenagers either as a Youth Worker, a Sports Coach or within an education setting?
- Do you hold a degree in PE/Sports, Youth Studies, Education or similar?
