We are working with a centre that provides education for young people experiencing social & emotional behavioural difficulties, those who have been permanently excluded from School & those whose anxiety or medical needs prevent them from attending school.
We are assisting to support in the recruitment of a support team member who will assist learning in the classroom and on a one to one basis.  The centre requires committed people who are able to form positive, professional relationships with pupils, colleagues & parents. 
The centre requires support team members have recent and relevant experience of working with pupils aged 5 - 17 years who present with challenging behaviours. As these posts include one to one working, you must have a good knowledge of the general curriculum,  have good literacy and numeracy skills and be confident in you delivery. 

The position is 5 days per week, School hours based on the outskirts of Brecon.

Minimum requirements:

Minimum of 3 months experience of working with children in an SEND environment - Specifically ASD
Fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service) - ability to obtain a new one
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
EWC registration (School support worker)
Right to work in the UK
