Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant | Leicester | Temporary Position

School
Hays work with mainstream and Special Needs Schools across Leicester and are currently seeking experienced Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistants. We have opportunities within Mainstream Primary and Secondary and Special Needs Schools.

Position
The role will involve supporting a child with challenging behaviour. You will be supporting the class teacher to set up and deliver a specified learning plan. The pupil may display violent and verbally abusive behaviours and can get frustrated which results in needing to leave the classroom on occasions, but mainly needs help academically in the classroom.

Requirements
They are looking for a driven and motivated individual with a passion for supporting those with special needs in a school environment. You will need recent experience that is relevant and a TA qualifications, for example, NVQ level 2 or level 3. Team Teach could also be beneficial, as well as any other qualifications relevant to SEN for example PECS, Makaton and BSL etc.
