Easter Start (preferred) and the role is Contract to permanent
We are currently working with a school that caters for pupils of KS3 & 4 age who have Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs, who are looking to appoint a motivated and skilled Behaviour Specialist or SENCO who is passionate about teaching and learning and can engage their students even when they may be reluctant due to previous life experiences.
You will be an integral part of a strong dedicated leadership team committed to providing students with the very best outcomes through academic and vocational studies.
The post holder will be expected to play an active part in the restructuring and documentation of behaviour policies and advise staff (as a member of the SLT team) on best practise
The role will be challenging but rewarding, working in a great team environment where you can make a real difference.
This role is offered on initially on a supply basis with the opportunity of a permanent post thereafter
Candidates will hold QTS and ideally, you would have completed the SENCO qualification, however this is not essential. Previous experience of working with pupils with specialist education needs is essential
