Hiring dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors to join our team at a reputable Special Needs School in Stevenage

Role Overview: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with teachers to cater to individual student requirements.
  • Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.

About the School: Catering for children and young people aged 5 yrs to 19 yrs who have a range of complex and significant learning needs, Autism, Challenging Behaviour and Complex Needs.

Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
  • Minimum 1 yr of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory)
  • Proficiency in English Language (Mandatory)
  • Right to Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
