Prospero Teaching is working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' School located in West Drayton seeking a Behaviour learning mentor to start Feb 2018 full time
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate and proactive.
They will be experienced in the role of a behaviour mentor and have experience with SEN students or would like to move into a role working with students with a range of different learning difficulties and special educational needs.
Behaviour Mentor Job,
The ideal Behaviour Mentor will be innovative, enthusiastic and passionate. The school is keen to secure a Behaviour Mentor to join the secondary school Feb 2018. You will be working with SEMH/EBD students aged 11-16.
As a new member of staff you will be given guidance if needed, and there is always lots of support offered. Learning resources at the school are fantastic; the department you will be working in is busy and has a blend of experienced SEN and behaviour specialists.
This role may well suit an individual with SEN experience in a mainstream teaching role or someone who has previous experience working in a PRU or behaviour unit.
The School does not have issues with their recruitment and do not find that they have a high staff turnover. However, as they have worked with Prospero teaching for a number of years, they have entrusted this vacancy with us to ensure they appoint the most suitable Behaviour Mentor available for Feb 2018 to support the amazing teaching delivered to Key Stage 3 and key stage 4. The role also offers the option of being permanent or on a contractual basis depending on the successful Behaviour Mentor needs.
