Q: As a recent graduate, eager to become an Educational/Clinical Psychologist or Primary Teacher, are you now looking to gain valuable, hands on experience with challenging pupils?

Edustaff are currently looking for a confident, patient and forward-thinking graduate to join a highly successful but challenging Primary School in the Swale area.
We are looking for a graduate who has achieved a 1st Class or 2:1 in their chosen university degree and has an excellent academic track record (GCSE A-C in English Maths and Science + Good A Level results). This Primary School are in of a Behaviour Mentor who can think on their feet and has experience with challenging behaviour – Although school-based experience is not essential, experience as a Youth Worker, Sports Coach, Youth Offender, SEN Learning Support Assistant, personal experience with children or previous Behaviour Mentor experience will be beneficial.

A Behaviour Mentor is a tailored intervention role that benefits the Primary Schools we work with. It has been designed to help children reach their full potential as these pupils are likely to attend a Pupil Referral Unit, SEBD School or an Alternative Provision/Charity in the future.

•    Immediate/October start dates
•    Full-time position for the entire academic year (This is not supply work)
•    Supporting behaviour on an individual basis both in and outside of the classroom
•    Taking part in 1:1 withdrawal sessions
•    Daily rate of £60-£65

This is excellent experience for those who have a desire to have a career in Special Education Needs.
