Behaviour Support Assistant - South Tyneside

CER Education is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a school in South Tyneside who can support the pupils with functional skills in the classroom. A successful candidate will have strong behavioural management skills due to the challenging nature of the role. Previous special needs experience would be great for a candidate to have.

The role will involve supporting learners who have social, emotional and behavioural issues. You will be working 1:1 with a pupil in Year 10 supporting them through their day and lessons. In particular you will be supporting pupils at a Key Stage 3 - 4 level with their personal development.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 3:30.

The role is to begin as soon as possible subject to interview and completed clearance checks.

In order to apply for this job role you will need to have had at least 6 months experience working with children and a DBS on the update service.
