Beauty and Cosmetics Area Sales Executive

£20k - £23k basic, plus commission, plus travel expenses

Our client is looking for a Sales Representative to promote and develop the brand across all of their retail partners through outstanding customer service, sales and product knowledge. You will have the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with store staff and customers.

Main responsibilities:

Sales

Completely aware of all aspects of personal and account targets and continually achieving/exceeding them

Reporting daily units and £ sales

Take a proactive approach in developing the business at each site or opportunity

Execute appropriate activities to keep third party consultants focused and increase sales opportunities

Be aware of competitors sales and activity and act or report as appropriate

Analyse our business in each environment and look at all opportunities to increase sales

Training

Conduct in-store training to keep third party staff up-to-date and motivated

Product/brand knowledge

Fully up-to-date with all brand and product information

Passing this knowledge on to customers and third party staff whenever possible or appropriate

Pro-actively learn about competitors product ranges and aim to cross sell

Knowledgeable on pros and cons of other products within your environment

Relationships

Build excellent working relationships with third party staff. Work side-by-side with teams in-store to lead by example and encourage passion for the brand and products

Keep head office up-to-date with stores news/activities

Positively approach/ acknowledge every visitor in your environment

Customer service

Committed to maintaining excellent sales and service standards

Pro-actively recruit new customers, nurture existing client relationships and develops a loyal customer following

Always assist customers with information and link selling of other brands when required

Image

Reflect the brands professional heritage at all times

Brand uniform or all black, smart and professional

Administration

Report daily results to line manager

Report details of any conducted event

All paperwork to be completed accurately, neatly, and on time

Other

Other duties as requested by your manager, from time to time

Aim to provide service to all customers beyond their expectations and in keeping with the brand philosophy

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:

Confidence to approach customers, demonstrate & sell products

A passion to provide brilliant customer care

Strong communication skills

Relentless passion to deliver targets

Enthusiastic & self-motivated

A strong team player who is also able to work independently

High standard of personal grooming

Able to complete administration in a timely manner

Ideally worked in similar role before

At least 2 years

experience in selling beauty products within the luxury industry

Previous experience in working with sales targets

Knowledge of the skin, skincare trends, beauty market

Comfortable using basic Excel, Word
