BDM Support

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced customer service person looking to develop their role into a Business Development Support to join our client based in Washington. This will initially start as a temporary or fixed term contract, however could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The main duties of the role:

Telesales

  • Telephone employers to set up appointments for BDM’s
  • Search and identify new employers, as directed by BDM’s
  • Send introductory / Seta awareness letters to new employers
  • Follow up interest to letters - aiming to set up appointments for BDM’s
  • Prepare and maintain summary / overview customer contact spreadsheet

Customer enquiries and quotations

  • Logging new enquiries into CRM system
  • Adding new companies / privateers as required to CRM System
  • Submitting replies and quotations for standard courses (17th edition, PAT testing, etc.)
  • Follow up customer interest and response to quotations and proposals submitted by self and BDM’s
  • Follow up commentary from course feedback sheets - employer / individual communications to elicit new opportunities to quote

Commercial Course Communications

  • Email / Telephone regular and recently quoted customers with vacancy details of impending courses
  • Send out mail shots of course timetable and schedules
  • Update Seta website with course instances

Sales order processing

  • Booking confirmations - document and associated emails
  • Joining instructions
  • Delegate list / instructor communication
  • Workshop timetable maintenance and update
  • Food ordering
