This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join one of the premier international legal firms to provide business development support to the firm's Advanced Delivery & Solutions businesses, which comprise a range of alternative resourcing, technology, consultancy and project management specialists who represent a strategic priority for the firm globally.
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, Advanced Delivery & Solutions, the role holder will have the chance to work across this fast-developing area at a time of industry change, helping to embed Advanced Delivery & Solutions across the firm globally, pursue new business opportunities and shape client propositions in this evolving area. Responsibilities will include leading on proposal, pitches, credentials and presentations and driving forward targeting efforts across the firm's key client programmes. The Business Development Manager will develop, deliver and assess the success of business development and marketing plans and will need to drive forward the business development and CRM elements of integrated marketing and BD campaigns including planning roundtables and client briefings to generate new business opportunities and raise the firm's market profile. The successful candidate will also oversee the flow of market and client intelligence to the Advanced Delivery & Solutions team and will need to develop a comprehensive library of case study and pitch collateral to support local business development efforts.
Pre-requisites for this role include an outstanding academic record or equivalent allied to previous broad business development and marketing experience gained in a large professional services firm to include a proven track record in driving plans and campaigns forward to generate new business opportunities. In addition, the ideal candidate will require extensive proposal and bid management expertise, including crafting client value propositions and proposal writing. The Business Development Manager will need to be dedicated to developing an in-depth understanding of the firm's evolving global Advanced Delivery & Solutions offering and the wider market. The ability to influence at the highest levels internally is essential as is a determination and robustness to succeed.
