This role represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented business development professional to join a leading international law firm in the role of BD Executive focused on offering support to the Corporate & Commercial and eDiscovery groups.

It is a strategic priority for the firm to grow its eDiscovery business and this role offers an exciting opportunity to become a key member of the team charged with realising this ambition and the firm at the forefront of emerging litigation legal technology. Working with the Senior BD Manager you will assist with and deliver proactive day-to-day support. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a broad role, requiring a "hands-on" approach to marketing and BD with the BD Executive being responsible for business planning and advice and providing a focus to the delivery and direction of BD activities. You will assist partners, associates and BD colleagues in the management of strategic client relationships, co-ordinating client targeting efforts across Corporate & Commercial group and working with the central CRM team on specific client tactics, including secondee debriefs, client presentations and training. You will also be tasked with assisting the team in preparing proposals, pitch presentations and credentials statements for London-based proposals and capture proposal outcomes and prompt fee earners to act upon feedback. On the marketing side you will be involved in campaign management, events, maintaining credentials and market and client research to support business planning activities.

The firm is looking for a commercial and ambitious individual with a real enthusiasm for developing strong product, sector and client knowledge and proven business development experience, gained in a professional services environment. The BD Executive will be a well-educated team player, with strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills. In addition, you must be able to remain professional, proactive, creative, good humoured and enthusiastic whilst working under pressure.
