Tonic are currently searching for a Bar Manager for a venue in Liverpool with a strong cocktail menu as well as craft beer and other drinks which is looking to develop its offering. This is an opportunity for an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to take control of a business with the support and training in place to ensure that they can progress themselves and the venue to become one of Liverpool's premier locations for great drinks including your own cocktail menu.
We are looking for Candidates for a January start when they will begin work on analysing this successful bar's current position and planning their approach to maximising the venue's potential. We ask that candidates who apply are experienced in managing or supervising staff, stock and cash-flow within a bar but really we are looking for a passion for great drinks and creating atmosphere. The successful Bar Manager will begin work on a wage of £22k and after 6 months this will rise to £24k, there may be some flexibility in the package or its structure if necessary, this is a business which can offer excellent training and progression opportunities, a real employer of choice.
Candidates should show;

  • A passion for what they do, demonstrated by their high standards in everything from the venue's cleanliness to the standard and consistency of its products
  • An understanding of managing staff and pushing them to acheive their potential
  • Organisation and responsibility in their management of stock, cash-flow and budgets
  • A Stable career history in which short stays can be explained due to valid reasons
