Banking Operations Quality Assurance

An interesting and challenging role exists within the control department of this very well established City based International bank. This role will suit an 'A’ Level educated individual who has a good understanding of banking operations coupled with previous experience working in a quality assurance or audit function. Duties will include:- To assist the controls department in implementing a quality assurance programme with key operational areas including Banking services/Trade Finance/Treasury Settlements and Loan Administration. Liaising with these departments determining appropriate quality benchmarks, and establishing a regular testing programme to ensure departments follow procedures and meet quality standards. Interpret findings and communicate recommendations to the team managers, agree action plans to close any gaps and follow up. Production of regular reports for Senior Management on results of the Quality Assurance programme. Escalation of significant issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. REF: DMB
